Eleazar Kim is the founder and managing partner of My Lemon Lawyer Group LLP, a quickly growing lemon law focused civil litigation firm in California. He is an experienced trial attorney in both federal and state courts prosecuting cases involving complex tort litigation, product defects, breach of warranty, and consumer fraud lawsuits, with a focus on representing consumers in Song-Beverly, Magnuson-Moss, and fraud actions against automobile manufacturers. Eleazar has helped secure millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements and takes an active role in representing thousands of clients across mass tort proceedings.
As legal counsel, Eleazar has secured jury verdicts in favor of plaintiffs in federal and state trials and has helped clients achieve maximum recovery through strategic litigation. Eleazar enjoys taking depositions and is dedicated to protecting and enforcing the rights of his clients.
Eleazar is also a faculty law professor and teaches Torts and Products Liability Litigation to law students both in their first year and final year of law school. He enjoys engaging with students on traditional and progressive legal issues and challenging the young minds of the next generation of attorneys entering the legal field.
Prior to joining DTLA Law Group, Eleazar was a partner at another litigation firm where he championed the rights of consumers for several years. In his career, Eleazar has acted as counsel for government and public entities where he successfully defended against a wide range of lawsuits. As general and litigation counsel for corporations he litigated cases involving commercial transactions, patenting, and licensing. Eleazar has also represented clients in business and employment litigation.
While in law school, Eleazar served as a senior certified law clerk at the Major Crimes Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and assisted on high-profile murder trials. In the Preliminary Hearings Unit, he completed a record volume of preliminary hearings for crimes involving firearms and narcotics.
